Ανδρέας Ρικάκης
Ο Ανδρέας Ρικάκης έχει ασχοληθεί επί δεκαετίες με τη μετάφραση (Εγκυκλοπαιδικόν Λεξικόν “Ήλίου”), τη δημοσιογραφία (εφημερίδα Εμπρός), το θέατρο, την ίδρυση και διεύθυνση του Πειραματικού Μπαλέτου Αθηνών, τη θεωρία και αισθητική της μουσικής, τον προγραμματισμό μουσικών εκπομπών και την κριτική χορού. Έχει συνεργασθεί με εφημερίδες και περιοδικά καθώς και με διάφορους οργανισμούς για τα κείμενά τους – με τον ΕΟΤ από το 1971, την ΕΡΤ από το 1984 και το ΜΜΑ από το 1991. Από το 1985 έχει παρουσιάσει, ως παραγωγός, οκτώ διαφορετικούς κύκλους εκπομπών στο Τρίτο Πρόγραμμα της Ελληνικής Ραδιοφωνίας. Διετέλεσε πρόεδρος του Δ.Σ. της Κρατικής Σχολής Χορού (1993-1996), πρόεδρος της Γνωμοδοτικής Επιτροπής για Εθνική Πολιτική Χορού του Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού, μέλος της Γνωμοδοτικής Επιτροπής του Φεστιβάλ Αθηνών και της Επιτροπής Βραβείων Θεάτρου & Χορού της Ενώσεως Ελλήνων Θεατρικών και Μουσικών Κριτικών.
Andreas Rikakis is a journalist and translator; he has translated the “Ilios” Encyclopaedic Dictionary, has worked for Empros (newspaper) and Greek Radio (as a producer), was one of the founding members of the Peiramatiko Balleto Athinon (Experimental Ballet of Athens), and wrote dance criticism for newspapers / periodicals, and articles for various institutions such as the National Tourism Organization (EOT, since 1971), Greek Radio Television (since 1984) and the Athens Megaron (since 1991). As a producer, he has presented eight different cycles of programmes broadcast by Trito Programma (Greek Radio) since 1985. He served as President of the Board of the National School of Dance (1993-1996), as president of the Advisory Committee for a national dance policy of the Ministry of Culture, and was a member of the Advisory Committee of the Athens Festival.
